SAME AXE GRINDERS

I am always amazed at the biased attitudes shown against the 'Jesus Army.'

Whenever a TV or radio station does a documentary on them, they are always portrayed as a group of brain-washing soul-snatchers.

I myself lived with these people for about five years and found them on the whole to be loving, caring and humble.

I was with the community for five years and when I decided to leave for personal reasons I was, and still am given, much help and support.

However, you never hear that side of the story.

Whenever one of these documentaries rears its head, the same three or four people with axes to grind are given their head and never the voices of hundreds - nay thousands - of people who have more positive things to say and owe much.

It probably wouldn't make good telly though.
